At first, Doremi had a habit of making greedy spells due to her gluttonous nature. Her personality really comes out when she attempts to cast spells and fly, and they rarely work as intended if she was hungry or flustered. Initially, she expressed concern over becoming a Witch Apprentice until she realized she could perform magic, but soon convinced her friends Hazuki Fujiwara and Aiko Senoo to join her.ĭoremi is thought of as the leader and can get envious or concerned when others perform better. Doremi is not only a big eater, but she loves romantic things.ĭoremi is the pink witch apprentice and the reason the term " ojamajo" was invented.
Growing up, Doremi has struggled to be understood by others, which caused her much frustration when they teased her interest in magic.
Although it makes her appear nosy, Doremi has also gained several friends because of her tenacity and well-meaning gestures. However, one of Doremi's best qualities is her kind heart, doing whatever she can even if she doesn't necessarily like the person.

Throughout the series (mainly in the first season), Doremi often claims to be "the unluckiest pretty girl in the whole world" whenever something unlucky happens to her. She is easily jealous by trivial things, but will probably move on quickly. This has led to a lot of self-loathing on her part, and Doremi struggles to find anything that she can do well. She can be selfish and impulsive sometimes, getting into trouble a lot. Her socks becoming knee-length with sneakers having white ties instead of pink.ĭoremi is a childish and clumsy girl described as "troublesome". She also wore pale pink socks and magenta sneakers with pink accents.īeginning with Mōtto!, Doremi keeps her T-shirt worn beneath purple zipped vest with a pocket, as well as lavender shorts with pockets and belt. Originally, Doremi wore a carnation pink T-shirt with a maube tank top tucked into her loose dull pink denim shorts. When loose, her hair lining matches her bangs, which can only be seen in episodes 2 and 49 of Ojamajo Doremi Sharp. Her bangs are cut short with a bunch sticking up on the side.

The Cartoon Channel also made a deal with Toei Animation to license the series and make new English dub versions of the later season.The Cartoon Channel ordered a revival series of the original English dub 4kids version of Magical DoReMi after learning that 4Kids Entertainment only dub one season of Magical DoReMi of the Ojamajo Doremi series, as well as never renewing their contract with Toei Animation to license the series during the show's time on 4Kids TV.
